I believe that one person’s rubbish can be another one’s treasure. It’s really amazing to know that there are some people who can make an incredible work of art from things that most of us would usually throw away.
A farmer dad and his son from Hunan, China has teamed up to build enormous recycled Transformer robot sculptures out of junk and scrap car parts.
Yu Zhilin, a farmer who has a background in fine arts and an abandoned factory to work with, began to make amazing Transformer models using spare car parts during his spare time.
Although, the first robot model took him 3 years to complete, he was still able to finish the task – with the help of his son and the Internet.
With this project, he has now turned himself as one of the top amateur Transformers builder in Hunan province.
The best part? They’ve been selling these awesome robots to Transformer fanatics for the whooping amount of more than 1 million Yuan (more than $160,000) a year.
The tandem’s work has rightfully garnered a lot of attention, and the initial hardships were undoubtedly worth it.
Now his gigantic Optimus Prime and Bumblebee sculptures, assembled in his makeshift workshop, have gone viral!
Transformers have always been very popular all over the world and the franchise is hugely successful in China. The enormous robots like these are often bought up and proudly displayed in malls throughout the country.
SHARE. INFORM. AMAZE.
