Cat Gets Brain Freeze From Eating Ice Cream Too Quickly

There is nothing better than seeing your pet react to eating a strange food item for the first time. Like this video showing a Persian cat eats ice cream, and then reacts to the cold temps and possible brain freeze that follows. To be honest, it’s absolutely hilarious!

As it turns out, cats can get brain freeze after all, and poor Napoleon had the unpleasant experience of finding out the hard way.

While enjoying some yummy ice cream, 3-year-old Napoleon, suddenly came across a jarring sensation that many of us know all too well – that mini headache called brain freeze.

At first encounter with this bizarre sensation, Napoleon seemed to have let out a yelp in both question and pain. The good news is, he didn’t let that annoying feeling stop him from enjoying his treat, and as soon as the brain freeze subsided, he went right back to savoring his ice cream straight to the very end.

The hilarious reaction was believed to have been filmed at a home in Texas by the cat's owners. Fortunately for the cat, the effect only lasts for second and it soon settles back down and returns to the ice cream.

Note, however, that it’s never a good idea to feed your feline friends a large amount of ice cream as this will not be good for their health. When giving them these frozen delights, limit their intake to a tiny spoonful once in a while.
