1. Paraw Reggata Festival in Iloilo City starts from February 16 to 23. It is the largest sailing event in the Philippines that features the "paraw", a Visayan double outrigger sail boat and also considered as the oldest traditional craft event in Asia.

2. Panagbenga Festival of Baguio City was created as a tribute to city's flowers as panagbenga means "season of blooming." Floats and street dancers claded with flower-inspired costumes can be seen during the highlights.

3. Balsahan Festival of Guimaras is their way of honoring the mystical Sibunag River which crosses to most of the town's barangay. It is a major geographical feature of the town. Balsa means small boat.

4. Candelaria Festival in Jaro, Iloilo that starts on February 2 is a celebration honoring their patroness, Our Lady of the Candles. This is an image of Mary holding the baby Jesus and two green candles.

5. Itik-itik Festival in Pasig City held every last sunday of February in honor of St. Martha, their patroness. Itik is a duck for which the place is well known.

6. Bamboo Organ Festival in Las Pinas showcase the 19th-century old church organ purely made out of bamboo. It was made by Father Diego Cera and was completed in the year 1824. The bamboo organ was proclaimed as a National Cultural Treasure of the Philippines in 2003. The festival is the longest running international music festival in the country.

7. Sampaguita Festival in San Pedro, Laguna is listed in the Guinness World Records in 2009. They hold the record of laying the longest sampaguita line which measures 3.6 km (2mi). San Pedro is the sampaguita capital of the Philippines.

8. Philippine International Pyromusical Competition held in SM Mall of Asia. This event is joined by global fireworks makers offering bright dancing lights in the sky.
