Popular And Addictive Flappy Bird Game Earning $50,000 Daily From AdRevenue. Astounding!

Flappy Bird is a 2013 bird flying mobile game released in May 2013 is earning an amazing $50,000 in revenue daily from ads.

Created by Vietnamese developer Dong Nguyen and published by Vietnam’s independent game developer GEARS Studios. Flappy Bird game is free to download and simply requires users to tap the screen to play. The main character is a round, yellow bird who must keep away from hitting green pipes as it flies.

Users dictate how high or low the bird flies by tapping on the screen. It may sound easy, but the game is actually very hard to play. Even making a high score of 10 can take hours for some users.

Flappy Bird has been one of the most popular games and apps for both iPhone and Android over the past month. The mobile game has been downloaded 50 million times and has earned 47,000 reviews on the App Store.

“The reason Flappy Bird is so popular is that it happens to be something different from mobile games today, and is a really good game to compete against each other. People in the same classroom can play and compete easily because Flappy Bird is simple to learn, but you need skill to get a high score,” Nguyen said.

When users play every time, the Flappy Bird game displays banner ads at the top and bottom of the screen. With so many users now playing the game, all those ads are bringing in $50,000 every day on average.

The game "Flappy Bird" is the latest viral smartphone hit. Its high difficulty level and adorable star have made it the top free iPhone and Android app.

Usually, mobile games give users the choice to pay a small fee to remove ads, however Nguyen said he has no plans to remove ads or update the game in any way, no matter how distracting the ads may be for some gamers.

“Flappy Bird has reached a state where anything added to the game will ruin it somehow, so I'd like to leave it as is, I will think about a sequel, but I'm not sure about the time line,” Nguyen added.

According to Nguyen, the game was inspired by Super Mario Bros. The green pipes are icons of the game and the bird which is the main character was inspired by Cheep Cheep, the fish that Mario encounters while he swims underwater.
