These Guys Invented The World’s First Flying Bicycle. You Will NotBelieve What We Can Build Now.

The world’s first flying bicycle is made possible because of these two guys.

We have only seen this in the movies but now that fantasy is now a reality with the invention of the Paravelo Flying Bicycle. British Inventors, John Foden and Yannick Read have devised a two-wheeled bicycle that transform into an aircraft.

It requires no license to ride or fly in many countries, soars to altitudes of 4,000 feet and can be fold down small enough to be carried onto your back or stored any where you want.

The amazing Paravelo is a folding bicycle that pulls a lightweight trailer carrying a powerful fan. The overall assembly is small and lightweight that it can be taken on public transport and can easily be stored at home.

In order to fly the Paravelo, a flexible wing is spread out and an electric starter fires up the biofuel-powered 172cc motor. The machine can travel at speeds of up to 15 miles per hour on the road and 25 miles per hour in the air.

The flying bicycle needs to be in an open ground, clear of obstructions for take off. It can stay in the air for up to three hours once airborne and controls like a conventional fan-powered paraglider.

Foden and Read expect that at $16,000, the Paravelo will attract to inner-city flight hobbyists and believe that it may also be useful as a cost effective aerial exploration vehicle for forest rangers and border patrols.
