A Swiss designer created a handbag that has a special compartment for a bottle of wine as well as room for wallet and keys that every girl dreamed of.
Swiss designer Claudia Eicke designed the handbag and made it fit for the modern woman, which means it can hold the items you need for the whole day and can carry around a bottle of wine if you had the means to do so.
Eicke's Weekender Swiss-designed handbag has a slot ideal for storing a number of things to keep everything in place though its primary function is the wine carrying feature. It’s possible that high heels could be stored there as well.
The £25.99 designer handbag contains 1.5 liters of the chosen grape and the wines are award-winning from Languedoc. It already achieved numerous awards for their innovation and creativity.
“The idea was based on the things women do in the day like working, shopping and going to a party. The bag needed to hold all the items she needed for the whole day,” she explained.
According to Eicke, that it took ten prototypes to get it right and it sounds like she has a hit on her hands.
“We have had very good reactions to the bag. People like the tunnel idea and they bring their own ideas too. Some suggested putting a yoga mat in the space,” she said.
