Monstrous wave forms unbelievable likeness to the bearded face of a man as it smashes into the bay.
Photographer Simon Emmett caught this amazing picture in just a split second of a perfect man’s face complete with brow, nose, mouth, chin and beard from the spray of a 30ft wave into Lyme Regis Bay in Dorset.
Afterwards, the wave broke over the harbor wall which has taken damages in the recent storms. Forecasters advised of the said violent storms in the south west and communities in Cornwall, Devon and in Ireland are under water after rivers break their reservoir and sea defenses were breached by high tides.
No less than 5,000 properties are still without power supply in the south west, moreover 39,000 homes had to have power restored after winds peaked at 80 mph overnight.
Western Power Distribution said the violent conditions had caused 'airborne debris' to fly into overhead lines and made repairs complicated.
